A Feast......

........ for the eyes as well as the stomach.
Yesterday evening we returned to the lovely new restaurant in the village and had another super meal. I started with lightly curried crab with dandelion and rose petal bhaji and I could have had a plate of that and nothing else, it was so good. This was followed by my choice of main shown in the photograph: potato, cheddar and leek dumplings in an onion and mushroom broth. It was served in this beautiful bowl, made by a local potter. I thought that the whole thing looked great, and it tasted pretty good too.
