The Yarra River

If you read yesterday's post you will understand why this post is nearly identical. It is actually not taken from the same location, I took this photo on a ladder just overlooking the fence, I wasn't happy with the reflection of the glass with yesterday photo, not so noticeable after the post production, but was the reason why I had something lined up before I accidently deleted it.

Well, the view is the reason why we bought the house, although when we bought there were no cranes and construction going, just a beautiful view of the river onto the city. Now there is a lot of development which I half support and half don't, i do believe Melbourne needs to become more dense, however I think it is ashamed that we are doing it on the river and not saving it for the generation after us.

the closest construction you see on the left side is a 11 storey building right on the Yarra River, because of that building I wonder how many more 11 storey plus buildings will go on next to the Yarra, The Yarra is a beautiful place to escape the city life full of the wild life and greenery, hopefully it can remain like that as long as it can.
