A Dapper Gent At The Star & Garter, Soho

Work was so quiet today that I had nothing to do. I didn't take a shot in anger all day. Unfortunately, I couldn't leave early as my fellow photographer in the basement had the day off. Each minute felt about an hour long. By the time it got to midday I'd had enough and so went for a walk into Soho. It was then that I saw this dapper gent walking past the Star & Garter pub and I just had to capture him. I only noticed when editing the image that I'd managed to capture myself (with Tesco bag - classy!) in one of the windows!
On the way back to work I saw they were giving away free home-testing Covid kits so decided to pick up one. When the two blokes running the show saw me wearing my "Born In The NHS" t-shirt they proceeded to give me another six! To be serious for a moment our workplace does not seem to want to put in a lateral flow testing regime for when things open up on the 19th so I'm just thinking that I should at least do my own tests if they are not going to provide any.
