Blowsy Poppy

It's been a quiet day to give the knees chance to recover so I put a loaf in the bread machine and made some cheese and carrot puffs and potato salad.

I was hoping to blip lots of bugs in the mini meadow but it was a bit quiet and it's in that middle stage where there is much to emerge but the first plants are on their way over.  It was good to see some purple loosestrife blooming and the knapweed is well on its way.  I blipped this poppy a couple of days ago before it burst forth and it was well and truly showing off in the hot sun.

No sign of the hedgehog last night, but the food was all gone this morning.
