Andy Scott Sculpture - Unnamed

I sought out this sculpture when I was on my way to visit the folks in Prestonpans.  It's in one of the new housing estates and was commissioned by the developers in 2011 to bring more public art to the area.  The work is by Andy Scott who created the fantastic Kelpies which are just off the M8 at Falkirk.   Andy Scott says he did some Pans research and decided to create something to commemorate the 81 town residents executed for witchcraft in the 16th century.  He's produced a striking three metre high sculpture made from steel.  

Blooming hot today - 28 on the balcony!   Bunnet on at the bowls!
