Pianola

I got a phone call the other day from a lady offering to donate her Grandmother's pianola to OGH.

The USA company of M. Schulz and Co manufactured pianos and pianolas starting in 1867, but this model is clearly 1930's which is way too young for our purposes.

Two more strikes against it (and she certainly didn't tell me this ahead of time), the pianola part doesn't work and would cost quite a lot of money to fix - like thousands of dollars;  and secondly, we really don't have the space.  We did entertain the idea of putting it in the Coach House to serenade customers during their afternoon tea, but it would be too loud in such a small room.

So, it was a nice thought but it's not for us I'm afraid.
