The Gentle Activists

It's been good to have become friends. Alex and Nina got locked down in Ilkley for a year and have fallen in love with the moor. The sad thing is that even though they live so close by, the periods of lockdown, as well as my own escape into various bubbles of solitariness, has meant that we've only got together on a handful of occasions. They promise to be back.

We were joined by their lovely friend  N for a run on the moor and it was wonderful to feed off their playful energy. They all work in software, outside the commercial world, writing code to enable greater democratisation and sustainability. They're awesome people.
