Lilies…

…as seen on my walk & I thought they were beautiful. Thanks to Annie for hosting Flower Fridays. I had a great time having dinner with my family last evening. We were there a little over 3 hours. When I got there, Uncle Bob was standing inside the door, giving hugs as we came in & directing us to the bar. He said “order whatever you want & tell the bartender it’s on Uncle Bob’s tab”. So I walk over to the bar & before I could even open my mouth the bartender said “Hi! Are you with Uncle Bob”? The hostess came & said:  “Uncle Bob, we set up the tables the way you wanted & they’re ready whenever you & your family want to sit down”. The waitress: “Hi Uncle Bob. I’m Andrea & I’ll be the server for you & your family, so anything you need you let me know”. That’s SO my uncle—he talks to everyone & he’s so friendly that people just take to him. My 96 y.o. Aunt was also there, so I sat next to her. She was in great form & regaled us with stories of their childhood—like the time Uncle Bob was calling random phone numbers, & when someone answered he would say (in a creepy voice)  “You will die at midnight”!  Only one old lady was terrified & called the police, who showed up at the front door of my grandparents to question them. According to Uncle Bob, once he confessed to his dad what he'd done,  “I couldn’t sit down for a week”. He also said his “juvenile pranks” made the local paper. My sides hurt from laughing at their stories.
