Cherries

We drove through the lanes to Badlesmere where we usually buy cherries at this time of year but everything was shut up but we came back the quicker way and just before we got to Faversham came upon the Cherries for Sale sign. It was a real old countrywoman who sold them to us - I think the variety was Marshall and they are delicious. It won't be such a good harvest this year because of the rain which has caused many to split. £5 for 2 lbs.
