Treats all round

The physio worked hard on my back for an hour. He thinks the problem started in the hip. Hopefully it will help. He’s sending exercises.

Then I baked and prepared stuff for the boys’ arrival plus a treat for Carol who is getting her hip done today.

We had lunch then headed to Whitley Bay to pick up their stuff before picking them up from school. They are on staggered collection times to minimise Covid congestion. They asked to go to the park as their friends were going so we agreed. Thomas and his pals played football while James climbed and swung on monkey bars. Then he and a pal went to the drinking fountain where they took mouthfuls of water and sprayed each other. When they got suitably wet they stopped.

Then they requested fish and chips so we walked to Patrinis. The rain started so we hurried back to the car to eat. Mr C and I should also have had child portions and Thomas said if they had made baby portions he’d have had that.

As it started raining we hurried to the car to eat. Then it was ice cream time - Mr C and I had salted caramel, Thomas had Belgian chocolates James chose Milky Bar. When we started the one hour drive home they were hyper - the bottom right!

Wish us luck. We have them till Sunday!
