Wooten wawen

So this evening B and I walked the dogs along the canal by Wooten wawen. It was warm and sunny. First of all we saw two swans and one signet. Then we saw a couple of narrow boats going under one of the bridges. Next, oh joy, we saw a kingfisher flying past. Very pleased about that. Then lots of ducks, so I fed them some quack snacks. There were lots of damselflies amongst the meadowsweet and yellow iris and various types of grasses. We sat down by the nearby river and watched Charlie play in the water. Pierce watched as well as he is not so keen on going in so rarely does he join Charlie with the water fun. Now we are back home. The dogs have had their supper and I am just about to make mine.
