1000 Vineyards

Booked a flight for 7.30 - what was I thinking! Up at 4.30.

Forgot to mention there wasn't much in the way of Pope celebrations - disappointing. Eva and Fanny were very excited though.

Arrived in Mendoza to a distinct weather change. It's cold.

So far managed an olive oil tasting.

Cycled to a nearby winery on the worst bike ever. Saw the second lorry of this years harvest. Tried the syra grape. Very sweet. Then a tasting. We drunk it. No spitting out.

A dip in the hot tub to warm up. It looks over the vineyard in the picture.

More tasting and chatting to guests who seem to know what they are talking about.

That may be us tomorrow!

For dinner the best lamb filled ravioli.
