The library

The local library, a glowing beacon (if in rather desperate need of some TLC for the building).
My afternoon shift there today was a busy and amiable time. Our pre-booked browsing slots fill up quickly now.
Thank goodness for the Labour hold in the Batley and Spen constituency. A brave woman, the new MP, sister of previous MP Jo Cox who was murdered there in 2016 by a right-wing fanatic. Today's result is a rare piece of good news.
