Journey start!

Hannah has decided to walk the length of the Thames. She has dug back in history to find bits we have already walked and ticked them off but today we went to the source. A little bit of misnavigation at one point but some wiggling about got us back on track. So (extra) Rosie at the waterless start then we got through map 1 and 2 before calling up a taxi to get back to the car. A nice paddle on the way, with luck it will get deep enough for a swim tomorrow.

Then to the supermarket to buy new ice and all of the sushi, back to our lovely new home, sushi, sake, beer and then a nap. All restored then for an evening of splendor. Campsite now a lot more busy. I have the lovely slightly sunburnt, happy feeling of a good holiday day. Rosie has had the best day. Tomorrow- thunderstorms!!
