Hydrangea

The backyard at the beach is quite peaceful and quiet today; we are alone here on the 4th of July weekend for the first time, we are actually enjoying it. So far there have not been a lot of illegal fireworks being shot off; there is a ban on any fire right now.......no backyard fire pits or fires on the beach.....I hope people are careful and don't start any out of control fires. This year it is particularly dry.  I enjoyed doing a bit of gardening and taking photos of the hydrangeas.

Little Miss Ellie and her family are going to Southern California for several days; her mommy is living down there and the plan is to visit with her. I hope it turns out to be a lovely visit.

Nice and cool over here on the coast. We have been doing the stuff home owners do when they visit their beach houses..... things that need to be done to prepare a welcoming home when guests are here. It is worth it for the time together under one roof with friends and family.
