following the beast

as you will have noticed no pic from yesterday. this is because l had to attend an #important' meeting with 'v.important people' who have passed everything l told them re: the monster over to the 'correct authorities'. hence on Friday morning we drove up to Dufton. Reports have been arriving quick and fast including many sightings of the monster moving north following the Ribble and then into the Eden valley via the Lune. Speculation is that it is trying to reach Loch Ness. However I walked into the mist off Dufton Pike with the sound of tanks booming over the hill - the military must now be involved in the hunt and be hot on his heels (if it is a he). In the evening l walked down Dufton Ghyll and felt eyes watching me - every dead tree seemed to be watching and some were very eerie. No luck today so out again tomorrow unless warned off yet again. will keep you informed.
