Breakfast at Lochranza!

Met up with Mama and Papa at Lochranza for two nights - it was so nice to spend time with them out on the road! Here we are getting ready to cook some porridge together while trying to avoid the infamous West Coast midges :)

We took a long walk around the northern tip of Arran - it was meant to take a few hours but we ended up being out for most of the day as we missed a turn and walked for several kilometres before realising our mistake! Still, it was a beautiful walk over the rugged coastline despite getting a lot of ticks!

Papa has suggested that instead of going back to Glasgow via Brodick it would be nicer to go through the Cowal Peninsula which he says is beautiful. Will do that as it's nice to continue the adventure rather than going back through a route I've already cycled (plus there are an extra 2 ferries which I'm so excited about!)
