FOR FREDDIE

I hadn't intended to do this two days in a row, but here are my grandmother, Gar (blipped yesterday), with Freddie, my Dad, 85 years ago. And just after midnight today another descendant was added to their family tree when my nephew's wife gave birth to another Freddie. So welcome to the world, baby Freddie, and congratulations to Natalie & Joe, and well done for making my sister a granny at last which she's been longing for for years! His great-grandpa and great-great-grandmother would be thrilled.

Now I'm off to find a card and a suitable present for a 10-lb new arrival.
