Morning snack

Bruce the tortoise fixed me with his stare this morning, so I knew he wanted something to eat. He enjoys apples and lettuce.
He is surprisingly tame, doesn't worry about Coda, except if she tries to steal some apple.
The extra is a monkey that jumped into the tree outside my study window as I was doing my blip...not the best photo, but a record shot!
They are a menace - we have to be careful not to leave food out, so the birds have to do without when they're around. It's difficult to photograph them as they are so quick. Coda does a good job of chasing them - usually into my neighbour's garden, so she gets a quick message  warning her to take her bird feed inside!
