Seedhead

Having expected it to rain all day it was a pleasant surprise when it cleared up first thing and so I popped to the Churchyard again late morning to photograph the common sorrel (Thanks to HClaireB for naming it yesterday) and this very pretty seedhead. The sorrel is in extras again. 

Some local people were tidying up the gardens (the front is very neat) and I told them what pleasure I have been getting from the long grasses. Apparently not everyone feels the same, so they were pleased to hear how much I have been enjoying it.  I plan to send some photos to the Rector.
