A very wet and humid day out, but it’s good for the garden. 

Last week my mother-in-law’s 30 plus year old electric fire finally broke beyond repair so we had to go out and buy her a new one . We were going to throw away the orange ‘coals’ from it, but it seemed such a waste so we brought them home with us. We have scattered them outside on the gravel by our water features and are quite pleased with the result.

The extra is Amber trying to balance as she walked along the edge of the patio pond this morning.
