Not injured as I first thought .......

..... just resting in the very sultry heat this morning. As I crept a bit closer the magpie quickly drew in his wings and headed off to the nearest tree.

We have had a good amount of rain this afternoon so hope that has cleared the air a bit ..... no watering the garden tonight ... a real bonus!
