wait for me

A duck and it's ducklings separated by a overflow wall at the lake.  It wasn't for a lack of trying that the little ducklings were below the surface of the lake.  As you can see in the extra I added, they were jumping up repeatedly to try and reach their momma.  By the time I went round the lake the second time, both momma and babies were no where to be seen so I'm thinking they made it over the wall.  
We have an unusually cool day today which is perfect walking weather in my opinion.  Tomorrow is the 4th of July and also happens to be my son's birthday.  For many years as a young child he thought all the fireworks were just for him lol.
