Bee still!
The girls were excited this morning as they were off for their last swimming lesson. Well actually they were just excited full stop!
I went round to the hall to check the boiler repair was OK and then home where we sat in the garden. This little bee was resting, along with a caterpillar, in my Boscobel Rose.
This is the replacement I received in the Autumn having been sold the wrong rose last year. I've put that one in the extras. To my huge relief, having made such a fuss, they are clearly different. What I don't know now, is what the other one is, it came mislabelled. It's definitely a David Austen, but other than that...... ? I'm glad I persisted though and ended up with the rose I had gone out intending to buy in the first place.
The weather broke after lunch today, it became dull and dreary and then it rained. I think this week is set to be wet unfortunately.
I've packed my case for going away, I can just about manage to lift it. Packing for wet weather is much more difficult as you need more, and bulkier, clothes.
I think I might end up leaving some extras in the car and nipping over on the ferry if I really need them.
Ali spent much of today cleaning and hoovering her car, we're not sure a valet company would even have looked at it, but it looks great now. I think Marvin is now banned from it!
The Scottish case numbers, including the Edinburgh ones, seem to have dropped a little over the last few days, let's hope that it's a new pattern. Keep safe everyone. I know I don't say it often enough, but thank you everybody for your kind comments and awards, they are always appreciated. My photography is limited, but I love the interaction with fellow blippers. Thank you again.
