Common spotted orchid.

I must have known what sort of day it was going to be as I photographed my orchids first thing.  They are looking really elegant this year as if they are definitely going to stay.  Had a brief chat to Emma and Courtney then came indoors to change the bed, clean the wet wall, wash bedding and towels and set Roomba going downstairs.   Thank goodness for machines that take over the hard work.  Reverted to the sofa after that.  Everything is pretty normal as long as I don't walk. 
 However I think everything will back to normal by Tuesday or Wednesday. 
It rained heavily for most of the day so the garden got a good watering.
Went up to the Pillars later to buy some wine, seaweed crisps and an individual tub of ice cream.  The road was awash.  I've eaten very little since Wednesday and I felt I needed to have a proper meal.  So its wood pigeon breast with vegetables and baked potato for dinner with some wicked but welcome  treats.
