Nymans...

... was beautiful today, especially when the cloud lifted. This courtyard of the house, a building destroyed by fire in 1947 only fifteen years after it was changed from Regency to Medieval style by its then owner Colonel Leonard Messel, was so peaceful in the dappled sunshine. The gardens were beautiful and a mass of colour.

A good run this morning then we fitted in the weekend shop before driving to Handcross. D had given the car a thorough clean inside and out yesterday before a service on Monday, then the MOT on Friday. We’ve enjoyed our first year with it!
