Bass Lake

In large you can spot the kayakers.

My initial visit to this preserve.  No trails.  Just a boat ramp, a tiny fishing dock, and a lovely lodge/shelterhouse and picnic area.  It was full today with a family reunion.  Nowhere for me to sit my folding chair to read and write. Also left my sd card behind, so had to do a phone shot.

A visit to Fowler's Mill, just down the road from Alpine Valley where I first tried to ski, before I had any downhill skiing lessons.  That wasn't a good idea. No, not at all.
