We had some welcome rain today.

I slept a lot of the day, as I was feeling pretty washed out …. . I eventually got up at 4 pm . I went round to Mums and took her some shopping . She’s not been drinking enough fluids and becoming dehydrated , it is making her feel shaky.

In the evening I went to the allotment. I love pottering around there . The tomato and pepper plants in the greenhouse are looking healthy. I’m looking forward to eating them !!
The strawberries are ripening nicely , I picked a punnet, they were delicious.
England won in the footie quarter final against Ukraine 4-0 !
