They are gone
The palisades have finally been removed. Today we brought most of them to the recycling centre (they were impregnated, hence because of dioxin it is not allowed, nor wise to burn them). We were a bit surprised by the prise we had to pay; next load will be delivered on a regular weekday, not Saturday, because then we usually pay less).
The blue tarpaulins we put on the ground to make it easier to remove the earth again after it was stored there temporarily.
My next activities will be to continue removing the earth a couple of metres into the hill and also to remove the loads of concrete hidden in the earth. Getting rid of the earth will be difficult, with too many pieces of concrete in it.
