Walk Away

Went for our usual walk this morning and passed these shoes on the way. They were in reasonable condition but just left on the side of the road.

Couldn't help but wonder why. Couldn't help but wonder how you could just leave your shoes behind.

Was it an accident did they fall out of someone's bag? Was it in anger and someone threw them from a car? Or was it a major moment in someone's life that was so bad they just walked away?
