Camellia Sunsong.....

.....strong vibrant petals unfurling, in my winter garden.

Bred in New Zealand by Neville Haydon this camellia is the recipient of a Breeder's Award. A strong shade of pink this formal bloom is set against dark green foliage.

Many buds to open, enjoying seeing a couple of vibrant blooms on the bush.

Sunday.....a day to potter. Lots of winter sun, blue sky and so calm but it was brisk throughout the day, 11C after a -3 frosty start.

Homemade pizza tonight, a glass of red while listening to Simply Red, simple pleasures.
