Lunch in Titirangi with friends. Then a look around the Te Uru gallery (stairwell in extra). The statue is of Henry Atkinson who was "A pioneer in the preservation of the environment". He donated native bush parklands in the local area and water catchments further up in the ranges. Red eyes possibly not original.
