We woke up to a very pretty wintery scene. I guessed there must have been some snow activity as I lay in bed because it was so quiet outside. Not the usual car activity that a weekday morning produces. It did look very pretty and Elodie kept saying 'snowman snowman'.
As quickly as it came it was pretty much gone by late afternoon. But I enjoyed the cosy feeling snow produces when your snug indoors. We went to the park and then town this afternoon and I was surprised by how many shops had closed due to the adverse weather! I guess they had expected the snow to last a bit longer than it did.
