After a downpour........

.......there is always the boat race! 
Honkey nuts, dandelion flowers, leaves and bark were all used to float down the raging torrent. It was freezing! (For us) In fact, the "feels like" temp at one stage this afternoon was 1.2C. That's cold. For us.....
We are still in semi lockdown in that even though we are at the other house, we are not permitted to dine out, visit galleries, wineries etc. We can shop for essentials but, coming from Perth, we must be masked. Like bandits.  ;-)
So, we have been bunkered down with the fire  burning, soup simmering, casseroles in the oven and now the munchkins and parents are here. Munchies are having a sleepover :-))) and apple pie (from Elsie who is helping me type this.......)

I have built a tiny dam near the tank because the overflow was overflowing with all the rain. It's for the fairies. Tomorrow i can add more bits and pieces because it is dark and cold now. We are going to Rottnest Island on Friday, we will be there around 10:00am and leaving the next arvo around 4:00pm. I am going to bring my camera to take a photo of a cute little Quokka. And also make a little diary of  my day!!!
