Back in rural Shropshire

Well, we've left the big city behind. It was a bit of a sad occasion for Ian as it was the last time he is to be in his family home - he moved there in 1951 when he was only 3 and although he'd left home many years ago his mum lived there until her recent death and we visited quite often.

We trekked north to Shropshire to my parents home where we will stay for a few days, catching up with family, before heading north again to the islands. The weather is, once again, dull and drizzly but i managed a photo out of their upstairs window.
