Brambles Cafe window

The Swallows are nesting just below the window just as they have in previous years.

We have missed our visits to this cafe above Langdale CO-OP for a few years.

It was good to see the same faces working in the shop and the cafe. I’m so pleased they have managed to survive and stay open.
We are nostalgic about the place but the food is good for a light lunch. We had Quiche and salad Brie for one and Cheddar for me. Pastry so light, perfect.

The view over the Gala field reminds us of years when that field would be full of people having fun on this day
