Poppy Mania

Drove to Pevensey Bay this afternoon for a walk along the Beach with Smoochi to collect some flat stones & shell's to try to protect the roots of my new Marjorie Clematis; the whole plant has gone into feeling sad so I've re-potted her deeper than her original pot & put her into the Greenhouse to convalesce, but I know they like their feet in the shade & head in the sun, so I'm trying to keep the roots cool. I hope she survives.
Anyway everywhere we turned going into Pevensey Bay we saw Poppies.
I found some really deep red ones, so I snipped off some seed heads in the hope we will have some next year.
