To the River

Managed to get a quick visit to Wallington. If you walk through the walled garden you find this beautiful doorway to the river walk. Most people tend to continue walking around the garden and miss this part, but it’s a lovely walk and during the summer when the river is low you can cross over by the stepping stones.
This afternoon the heavens opened with a terrific thunder and lightning storm, so pleased I wasn’t out during this.
