Helenium

This is the first Helenium in bud.

Today I have a very old friend come to stay for one night. She lives in Pocklington North Yorkshire, she has spent two days travelling stopping at another of her friends for one night and with her daughter one a camps sight with her VW Transporter. 

She has been shopping for me, sorting out my bird feeders and now cooking the evening meal, she is making enough so I can put another portion in the freezer. 

I just feel so very fortunate to have so many true friends, she said she wants to come again, I will only allow this if she  makes it with a round robin, so see other friends she agreed with that.
