Day Out

We went for a family day out today down the east side of Kintyre, recently advertised as route 66 but don't go unless you are confident on small single track roads. Anyway we headed down to the gin distillery at Tormisdale, Beinn an Tuirc gin. Stopped at Caradale for a walk out to the point, lunch at the distillery where we also picked up a couple of bottles, one for our supplies and one as a gift for friends. Lunch was really good. We then headed to the beach and to see the statue which is an Anthony Gormley one. See extras. I really wanted to do the gin tour however it's not open on Sundays but I recommend a visit if you are in the area  information here plus the gin is good too

Now KK is off to jump off the pontoons with his mates again and we are collapsed on the sofa in preparation for work tomorrow.
