RIP, Dolly the goldfish ..

I bought Dolly and Eric last year, for my barrel pond .. it was quite a while ago that Eric popped his clogs, so poor Dolly has been all alone :(

Having survived the winter I thought it was about time I got her some company, so today I bought her a companion.

When I got home, I went to the barrel pond to put the new chap in - and there was Dolly, dead on the bottom! How tragic!!

So the new, nameless chap is now home alone in the barrel pond and Dolly has been photographed - if it was good enough for the Victorians it's good enough for me!
