Willow Tearooms

Thanks for all the feedback yesterday. It was about 8 or 9 months since my previous Blip of the band.

There is a reason for Blipping these tearooms designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh - time could be running out!

The premises which is on the first floor is sublet from the Jeweller on the Ground Floor, but the Jewellers are due to close down. The other problem is that renovations and repairs require around £450,000.

They first opened in 1904 but unless a buyer is found they could close in the next 3 months, although its hoped that at the very least a temporary lease could extend this a bit even after the Jeweller moves out.
