Independence Day.

Happy 4th July to everyone celebrating including my sister and brother-in-law who married on this day many years ago, marrying on Independence Day always makes me smile.

Spent the day gardening with my glamorous assistant in her front garden, lovely way to spend the day and great results too. Stupidly I didn't take any photos!

The picture is of a chunk of Scots Pine bark I picked up on holiday together with various cones which now sit on my kitchen table.
