Dancing in the Danza

Swirling skirts and stomping feet thrilled the audience enjoying an energetic performance of dances from different regions of Mexico. It was great to see the young people carrying on the traditions of their home states.

The Plaza de la Danza is a large plaza between two churches around the corner from where we live. We heard the music and immediately walked over to see what the event was. We've been treated to many wonderful dance programs that we would never have known about because of our location.
