Party barn

Most July 4ths we’ve had a party, V being American and yesterday with it being July 4th on a Sunday we anticipated a big do.  Obviously ‘twas not to be and we ended up going hyper local with the neighbours on the lane and the local family.  Keeping it under 30 people.  

Of course it was a wet grey day but we put a small ancient jazz trio under the gazebo,  had a local caterer who used to do my parents dos doing the food and had a lot of fun. And it was nice to meet the neighbours socially at length. Thank goodness for the bar which, like the neighbours,  scrubbed up lovely.
