Toilers of the sea

A new sculpture has arrived in town. Victor Hugo and the octopus bench. He sits overlooking the road crossing to the marina. The crossing has a green light and it has been designed so  at night there will be  a green glow on the pavement and seat. The Toilers of the sea book was written by Victor Hugo when he was exiled in Guernsey.
We thought it was beautifully done :)
Our borders are open for fully vaccinated travelers and children under 11. Everyone else must be tested at the moment.
Town was looking very nice when we popped down there today. See extra.
