Mono Monday

The theme for today’s Mono Monday is flower power and this dierama flower towers over the other plants in the same bed.
We chopped down two winter flowering honeysuckle plants this morning which need to be cleared before the restoration work is carried out in our back garden. We have no idea when the work is going to be done but the developer has agreed to cover the costs so we understand although we haven’t had written confirmation.
The saga of our family’s move in continues. The removal company have now asked them when they will be out of quarantine which with early release hopefully will be on Wednesday so they won’t receive their stuff until Thursday at the earliest. They are resigned to it now but this should have been explained at the outset. The car we checked out for them, a mini was delivered today so at least they will have some wheels to get them started.
