We did the river path walk this morning, I can't believe how overgrown it is from the last time we were there.    The duck weed is beginning to form on the surface of the water it won't be long before it's completely covered.   It was a lovely sunny morning but it clouded over this afternoon and the wind has picked up ready for the gales forecast for tomorrow 
We met a lovely Russian lady on our walk, she's an artist and gets inspiration from her walks by the river.    She's also a forager and it was interesting to hear that she had also made elderflower cordial.   She told me how to make nettle soup, I might give it a try,  but I'll pass on the picking and eating of wild 'mushrooms' though.
