Egyptian grasshoppers/locusts

Having progressed to sparrows, Saffron seems to have got bored with catching grasshoppers so this pair are relatively safe on the back of the chair in the yard.
I had an early morning swim, then did some frantic gardening to get some ground cleared and prepared for planting some tomato plants before leaving for Athens for a few days. I grew them from seed and they'd long outgrown their pots.
Arrived in Athens late afternoon... its so much hotter and stickier here! Horrible! This is why everyone that can leaves Athens in the summer.
