Fireworks

...in the clouds.  We drove to the volcanoes and hiked up Black V to watch the hundreds of fireworks displays going off in the city below us, looking east.  The "show" lasts for two hours...private parties, city sponsored major displays (4-5)  small parks, Albuquerque sparkles and twinkles like a psychedelic Alice's Wonderland. 

 I do not know how it happens, magic, but as the musician observed, "I never knew there were that many fireworks in the whole world!"  

All the while the mini explosions were going off, the whole show was backdropped by lightning storms along the Sandia and Manzano Mts..  Impossible to film, ineffable to describe, pure joy to experience.

Most of my blips will be one day late from now on. What you see will actually have happened one day before.  I arrive home often too late to post that day.  Just sayin"
